eb Research is a research and consulting business established in 2006 to foster evidence-based decision making and policy through research, evaluation and collaboration
State and local governments call on eb Research for strategic consulting and hard evidence on changes to economic and property environments in selected spatial areas.
Specialising in the conduct and management of Censuses of Land Use and Employment (CLUE), place management, and localised Economic Development/Planning, eb Research provides clients with valuable insight into the current and changing nature of place, land use, industry and employment in any given spatial area.
We have extensive expertise in assisting government sector organisations to better understand the place in which their communities reside and work - helping them to make the best informed policy and decision making for planning and service delivery.
Our Approach
Our approach starts with a firm grasp of existing research and knowledge (saving both time and money) and the development of a coherent approach that identifies the additional evidence and knowledge needed to support client needs. We pay particular attention to maximising the use of existing spatial and property data held within client systems.
This chosen approach is implemented rigorously (and updated as the challenge is illuminated) in order to produce cost-effective products and services.
Successful planning and assessment outcomes are based on strong partnerships. Working together with our clients we bring to each commission our commitment to take the time to understand the issues and the way they affect different interest groups. We listen actively to our clients so that our services are delivered in a way that best meets their needs. We appreciate the importance of a project that is completed on time and within the agreed budget. We have a reputation for responsive and responsible project management. Most importantly, a large part of our motivation in taking this direction in our careers is to enjoy what we do.
